You can take the player cards from our game and open your teams using a PDF reader such as Adobe or Foxit. We prefer Foxit, but doesn't really matter. With FoxIt you can open all the files you need and just click between each document(If you use Ctrl + Tab this will move from one document to another). With Adobe, it opens each file and create a new web page for each document. Just a matter of preference really. I use bookmarks in FoxIt for the player cards which makes it much easier to switch between players since the lineups change frequently. Very easy to add bookmarks. You will see a button on the left side of the screen where you can add or remove your bookmarks for each file you have open.
Screen print of FoxIt with an example of our player cards look like. You are looking at 1968 Tigers, notice the bookmarks for easy access to each player card.

Once you get all the files open in Foxit, you can begin the game. You should also load the How to Play file, the Base Runner chart and the Bunt chart so you will have access to them when you play.
You should start on the Ballscore program and begin by loading your rosters and lineups for the current game. As stated earlier this part at the beginning takes some time, but after you get the rosters and lineups loaded all you need to do is import them. They can be modified after you import them.
You can access the dice roller by clicking on View and dice roller. It will open up a small box to roll the dice. You can use the keyboard (F12) to roll the dice. You can actually use the keyboard for all functions in Ballscore which speeds up the time it takes to record a play. I suggest using for a couple of games and by then you will be able to move around pretty quickly in the program.
When I am ready, I will have my PC open on the Ballscore program, a deck of cards on my desk. You can either roll your own dice or use the automatic dice roller in Ballscore, refer to Foxit PDF reader to read the result of the play and then record it in Ballscore. Go to the next batter and away you go. The more you play the faster it gets. Once the game is done you can export the scoresheet into BallStat and keep your baseball stats for the whole year.
